Marathon 2012
Entries are now full for the 2012 event . Thank you to everyone for signing up early. We will keep a reserve list of runners in the event we have anyone dropping out.
We are extremely delighted to announce we have recently been given approval to hold the 2nd Richmond Park Marathon on Sun 20 May 2012, and are very excited to be holding this wonderful event so close to the other major sporting event in 2012!!
We hope to improve upon last years event by the introduction of chip timing, simpler route and improved water stations, and are confident this will be an even greater success than last year. The entry fees have had to increase marginally on last year to cover additional costs that have been levied, in particular chip timing and parks charges, but this should not deter you from entering what could one day be one of the finest, most enjoyable, and rewarding long distance trail events set in one of the most picturesque parts of the country.
Excellent, we like to create this site to help and support the runners, as we are runners ourselves and we will have a lot of fun getting everyone round the 26.2 mile event in May. Everyone who finishes is a at on he back for us all !!
